Take your idea forward

The traditional startup model is broken. It demands complete sacrifice that most women can't—and shouldn't—make. The Startup School offers a radical alternative: a supportive ecosystem that respects womens’ complex lives.

We don't just teach entrepreneurship. We help women validate business concepts, build practical prototypes, and gain confidence without risking everything. Our program connects women with a powerful network of founders and provides the tools to turn innovative ideas into tangible ventures.

Applications are now open for the next cohort that's happening on March 17th - May 16th 2025.

What is it?

The Startup School is a 9 week curated program providing a step by step knowledge, skills and frameworks you need to take your business from idea to reality.

It offers a combination of online modules, meet-ups, expert sessions, mentoring that ensure you have the confidence and community support to move forwards.

Who is it for?

If you’re a woman based in the Nordics, you’re welcome to join:
• No previous experience or knowledge required
•The program best supports women in the early stages of their idea development
• Ability to commit at least two hours per week for eight weeks (i,e, alongside full-time jobs)
• Have an idea that could develop into a business

Who made it?

Designed by operators, investors, and researchers who have walked the same path, our program provides a structured yet flexible learning experience.

Our carefully constructed online module schedule is supplemented by expert guest speakers, co-working days, weekly discussions, mentorships and an open question forum.

Ideas best come alive in a community

The main program is delivered through online videos.
But our members love meeting the community in person.
Events provide access to the rest of the startup ecosystem.
Mentors support founders long after they finish the program.

The Startup School is best designed for:

Innovative idea

It doesn’t matter if your idea is for a digital or physical product, it just needs to be an innovative idea that brings a new concept to the market.

For this reason, businesses focused on coaching, freelancing or opening up a small shop are not the right fit.

Scalable Solution

Your idea should be able to grow and expand beyond your current location, serving more customers without proportional increases in resources or costs. A scalable concept can efficiently handle growth whether serving 10 or 10,000 customers by leveraging systems that maintain quality while expanding.

Nordic-Based

You have to be based in the Nordics. Our content is online, but our Nordic focus means you benefit from the local community, are introduced to regional stakeholders, and can participate in our in-person events.

Expert-designed Weekly Modules

Each week guides you through a step in the start-up process, allowing you to develop and refine your business concept.

By the end of the course, you’ll have an MVP and multiple options for deciding the next step for your business.

Community is vital for any start-up journey, which is why we provide you with the networks you need to succeed, including collaborating with other women on the same journey and receiving advice from experienced founders.

Our Wall of Love

What I truly love is the community you have built and the overall vibe, the whole program was very empowering.
The people at Even are incredibly approachable, and you can tell they genuinely care about supporting you both as a person and as a founder.
Absolutely loved the program—it exceeded my expectations! The weekly online meetings and monthly in-person events were perfectly timed—not too short, not too long.
The weekly materials were really good and informative. One meetup that was super helpful and inspiring (how to found a startup with your 9-5 job) and I gained lots of knowledge from the bootstrap lecture.
I loved the weekly meetups with experts, the co-working days and video content was so professional and incredibly valuable.
Joining the startup school speed-forwarded my business from idea to reality and helped me to gain confidence and stay accountable with myself.
The tools for validating ideas had the biggest impact on me. I now feel equipped to validate any product and business idea I might have in the future.
Just knowing that Even Founders exists gives a sense of belonging as a woman and early-stage entrepreneur.
Honestly, all the founders and experts we’ve met at the meetups or events were amazing! I always felt it’s hard to connect with people in the startup world, but it turns out everyone’s so warm and happy to help.
The sense of community, combined with actionable insights, made the difference turning my idea into reality.
I learned a lot about from finances to my mental health and it was the whole entrepreneurial package we got! Now, building my first MVP feels so much easier, and I actually feel like I know what I’m doing.
Even Founders is a very professional setup and it really inspires you to want to create your startup.
I have recommend the course to lots of my friends too! It’s amazing that this is available to encourage women to become entrepreneurs - I love the concept.
Community and being surrounded by like-minded people. It is really empowering and motivating to see others pursue their passions and ideas. Makes me work 1000x harder.

Listen to Augusta's Story!

Her journey shows how the Startup School provided the guidance, skills, and support she needed to bring her vision to life.

F.A.Q.

My co-founder is male, can he join?

The short answer is: no. The Startup School has intentionally been built for women founders, and while we welcome men to join and support the initiative in many different ways, they can't join the Startup School.

Do I need to be fulltime on my startup to join the School?

No, most of the women in our cohort are working on their startup while having a full-time job. The Startup School prepares you to test your idea before you are ready to leave your job and do this full time.

My startup is only an idea, can I still join?

Yes! The Startup School is designed for women who are at the earliest stage possible. When you have an idea, but are not sure where to start.
